Jazz Festival Launches Compilation CD Project

To feature the best of Ottawa Jazz

The Ottawa Jazz Festival will be releasing a compilation of the best in Ottawa jazz for the 2012 festival CD. This is a great opportunity to be featured along with other great musicians from the region and get heard by a wide audience.

The Ottawa valley is full of inspiring artists and musicians, driven in the pursuit of shaping our musical culture, one unique musical expression at a time. It is through art and creativity that we define ourselves. This project is dedicated to the all Ottawa Valley musicians who refuse to stop creating.

The Ottawa International Jazz Festival, in partnership with Healy Disc, will produce a compilation CD for the 2012 festival season. The disc will feature music from local artists with the objective of promoting the Ottawa jazz and creative music scene.
